Working on revision. This is where the action is. But so hard to cut out stuff you thought was important.
So, show don't tell and make the reader really care.  Now make him/her care more!

So, I've started a middle grade project. I'm so excited. Only about 8,000 words to go.

I know, tis the Season. Yes, My tree is up. My outside lights are glowing. Even a few inside decorations are up. So I sneak back to the drawing board. So excited for this new project. I know it does not look too Christmasy (I know that is not a word)

Not So Spooky Halloween

Came up with a way to post my first place award by the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators I got from the Carolina's Conference I attended two weeks ago. I'm really so proud of this award for my story, Chicken Roundup.
